POLICE STATION WRECKED
DYNAMITE UNDER FLOORING OCCUPANTS’ NARROW ESCAPE. Prett Association —By Telegraph—Copyright BRISBANE, April 14, (Received April 14, at 11 a.m.) The police station at Pentland, near Townsville, was wrecked by an explosion, believed to have been caused by dynamite, which was placed under the flooring boards. A police constable and his family, who were sleeping on the premises, had a miraculous escape from death. The motive is a mystery.
