SCHOOL DESTROYED

MASTER LOSES RECORDS AND VALUABLE CURIOS [Pbb United Press Association.) EKETAHUNA, April 13. The Eketahuna District High School, consisting of live class rooms and a science room, with its contents, including all the school records and valuable curios and books, the property of the head master, was totally destroyed by fire at 8.30 this evening. AVhcn discovered the fire was right through the interior of the building, and the brigade could do nothing but save the adjoining shelter shed. The origin of the fire is a complete mystery, but it is believed to have originated in the science room. The head master left at 5.30, when everything appeared to be quite safe. The caretaker was there later. The secondary school building, which is some distance away, remains intact.
