The second portion of to-night’s programme will take the form of the_ second of a series of four radio novelties, which will be presented to listeners over a period of tour weeks. Those who are interested in the novelty should arm themselves with a piece of paper and a pencil, and should listen carefully to the preliminary instructions which will he given from the station at the commencement of the radio novelty. Briefly, the • scheme is as follows The radio novelty will last over four nights; the second portion will lie given to-night, the third on Friday, April 20, and the fourth on Alonday, April 23. On each of the nights the announcer at 4QG will ask listeners a series of twelve questions. I These questions will deal with ordinary, everyday, current events. The object ' of the questions is to test the general i knowledge of listeners. Radio enthusiasts who follow up the competition will be asked to write their answers to the questions on a sheet of paper, to keep their replies till the whole of the questions have been asked over the four \ nights, and then post them to the stai tion, marking the envelope across the i corner, “A Test of Wits.” The lis- ! tener who correctly answers all the I questions will receive a prize of £5.
