The most sensational counterfeit case in India for many years was concluded at Karachi, when four Indians were sent to prison for terms varying from two to seven years, and two Englishmen, G. E. Dickenson and C. D. “Wheeler, were sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for two and four years and a-half respectively. ’• It was disclosed that dies or rupees, and Persian and other coins, were obtained by the agency of Wheeler irom •England. The finding of a case of dies as the Karachi Custom House led to "the arrest of Captain R. P. Farrell, 0.8. E., who turned approver.
