THE KAIKORAI BAND

On Sunday night, commencing at 8 o’clock, tho Kaikorai Band will open a series of Sunday night concerts in His Majesty’s Theatre. The band has successfully run these concerts during tho last two winters, and as _ a result of numerous requests has decided to comply with the wishes of supporters and commence immediately by giving these concerts fortnightly. The programme arranged for Sunday night includes the Christchurch contest selection, 1 Scheherazade.’ The vocalists are Miss Mae Matheson and Mr R. B. Macdonald, both singers well known on the Dunedin concert platform. Tho instrumental solos include a cornet solo by Bandsman J. Logan and a xylophone solo by Bandsman E. Andrews. Patrons need scarcely be reminded that the hand is put to considerable expense to run these concerts, and they are asked to contribute liberally on entering.
