TO-NIGHT’S CONTEST. Tommy Griffiths will bo tacol with one of the hardest propositions of Ids career when ho is opposed by Norman Gillespie, feather-weight champion of Australia, who has a brilliant record to bis credit. 'The contest lor £l5O will bo staged over fifteen rounds at His Majesty’s Theatre to-night, and should bo witnessed by a record house, which will bo eager to weigh. Gillespie’s chances ol victory against Johnny Leckie. Gillespie has a very solid punch in either band, and knocked out Tommy Barber in ten rounds in the fight for tlie Australian title. Johnny Curley, the great English feather-weight., could only win on points against Barber. Griffiths is a clever lad, and a stirring and wcil-contcstcd bout should be witnessed. Two good preliminaries will precede the main bout.
