BUSH FATALITY. At the inquest on the dentil of James Henry Ttussek at 'Akarama on April <5 a verdict was returned that fatal injuries were caused by the deceased being caught by a rolling log the occurrence being purely accidental, and no blame being attachable to anyone. The evidence of the deceased s hi other (Wenzel Eussek) and John Maunsell (a farm hand) was that the brothers were jacking logs to a truck at a siding, and one rolled from a heap at the back of them, both men suffering head injuries. The deceased, who was nineteen years of age, died on the train, and his brother was admitted to hospital with a fractured jaw and other injuries.— Whnngarei message.
