The weekly returns of dairy product outputs are promptly secured by tbo Dairy Export Control Board, ami those for tho week ended February 4 are fairly reassuring in regard to the drought position. Compared, with Ihe corresponding period of last year fhero is very Jittlo decrease in output, but it must bo mentioned that January of last year; was a, drought month, when produo* lion went down. The figures to February ‘I, therefore, snow that iho output is bolding np well, I hough a further continuation of dry weather is bound to have a bad effect.
