SCIENTIFIC GOLD
The proper preservation of food today becomes an integral part of the job of preserving health. The scientific cold of electric refrigeration kills the bacteria that spoil food. It keeps meats wholesome, milk sweet, and salads crisp. And, in addition, it changes marketing from an every-day drudgery to a twicc-a-week adventure. Buying, too, becomes much more economical. And precious hours of leisure are granted the busy housewife. Refrigerating engineers have followed the design of a French monk, the Abbe Audiffren, in planning an electric refrigerator for the homo which employs an hermetically sealed refrigerating unit, which requires no oiling or attention. The machine is entirely automatic in operation, and is practically noiseless.
