SELECTION IN QUEENSLAND Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. BRISBANE, January 17. (Received January 17, at 11.5 a.m.) A huge decrease occurred in Crown land selection in Queensland in 1927. Last year 873 persons selected 1,982,000 acres, compared with 1,130 selectors of 3,243,000 acres in 1926. The total amount of rental which accrued from last year’s selection was £1,633, compared with £21,638 in the previous year.
