TEAMS’ CHAMPIONSHIP. MELBOURNE, January 7. In the teams’ championship at Armadale South Australia 99 defeated New Zealand 92. Clarke 25 defeated South Australia 22, Hobday 26 defeated South Australia 25, South Australia 30 defeated Hills 17, Thomas 24 defeated South Australia 22.

It was expected that South Australia would win easily, but New Zealand had the gams in doubt till the last rink had finished.

Victoria won the teams’ championship. This concludes a successful carnival.

BLAIR-M‘DONALD CUP. The first match of a series of three for the Blair-M’Donald Cup between the Fairfield and Green Island Clubs was played on the latter’s green on Saturday afternoon, when Fairfield won by a substantial majority.- The following are the players and scores, Fairfield names being given first:—P. Allan, W. Hollows, J. Barclay, J. Anderson 21, W. S. Smellie, Tapp, Murie, Miller 18; R. Barclay, S. Anderson, G. Miller, G. Scott 27, Watson, Clunie, Brown, Kerr 15; W. Anderson, Moore, W. Allan, G.
