CHARGED WITH MURDER
FOURTEEN-YEAR-OLD CRIME. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, December 20. Following on the receipt of an anonymous letter, the police to-day arrested William Beaton on a charge of murdering a_man named Stratton at La Porouse in July, 1913. Stratton’s death caused a sensation, the body being found with a bullet wound in the bade a number of hours after death had occurred.
