DIVORCE CASES
DEGREES MADE ABSOLUTE Several applications iu divorce came before His Honor Mr Justice Sira this morning Eva Leahy (petitioner) v. Thomas F. Leahy (respondent), petition for decree nisi to be made absolute.—Air F, B. Adams appeared in support of the application, which His Honor granted. Petitioner was also granted an order of custody in her favor. Hugh Kennedy Black (petitioner) v. Iris Cecilia Black (respondent), petition for decree nisi to be made absolute. There was an application by the respondent for maintenance of the child of the marriage.—Air B. S. Irwin appeared for the petitioner, and Mr John Wilkinson for the respondent on the question of maintenance. —Mr Irwin said petitioner was willing to continue the payment of £1 a week till the child was eighteen years of age. That was acceptable to the respondent.—His Honor made tho decree absolute, and entered an order by consent ior tho payment of £1 a week till the child was eighteen.—Petitioner was ordered to pay costs (£7 7s) and disbursements in connection with the petition for maintenance.
