Following the riot in the Brunswick Theatre a deputation of BomaiyCatholic and Irish organisations waited on tho Chief Secretary and urged that the film objected to ho withdrawn from all Victorian theatres, as Die screening was likely to cause serious trouble. The Chief" Secretary promised to instruct tho theatres to withdraw tho film.
