TRAMWAY BAND CARNIVAL

Judging by the enthusiasm displayed at the third night of the Tramway Band Carnival in the Burns Hall, the xunction should bo a marked success. The stalls continued to do good business last evening, which showed that the function has not yet lost its swing.

A further dancing competition was held, and resulted Sword dance, for girls under twelve years, Daphne Allen 1, Bairs' Saul 2, Iris Gordon 3. An excellent orchestra was in attendance, and Hie music added appreciably to the enjoyment of the affair. The fair will be open again to-rfight, and in the evening a tug-of-war challenge match will be staged. On, Monday night a Highland lling competition for girls under twelve will be held.
