Huddart, Parker prefs. wore wanted at 20s Bd, with a seller at 20s 10d. Westport Coals had a seller at 33s ex dir. this morning, but no buyer was disclosed. The tone of loan and agencies and meats is firm. Auckland Amusement Park ords. were sought without response at 10s. Dominion Rubbers have firmed up since yesterday, the prices now being 41s buyers and 42s sellers. Had a buyer been on the market Dunedin Stock Exchange Proprietary shares could have bocn bought for 81s. Milbuni Lime and Cements and Wilson Cements, as usual, are very firm. There was very little bidding in (lie breweries and the mining sections.
