(Received November 24, at 1.30 a.m.) Workmen digging in London’s primeval clay, while sinking for the foundations for the ‘ Daily Express’s ’ new machine rooms in Shoe Lane, discovered rows of burial urns containing the calcined bones of Romans cremated in London more than 1,800 years ago. Eight were intact, and have been presented to the London. Musen®.
