NEXT MEETING IN SPAIN INVITATION BY KING. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. WASHINGTON, November 22. The next meeting of the International Radio Conference is scheduled for Madrid in 1932, as the result of an invitation by the King of Spain. Invitations were also presented by the Netherlands Government for The Hague and the Egyptian Government for Cairo. STATIONS IN CHINA. A WARNING ISSUED, ■ j 1 WASHINGTON. November 22. China served notice on the, other nations at the Radio Conference today that it does hot recognise the right of any foreign Power to install or o .rale without its express consent radio stations in any portion of its territory, including legation grounds, settlements,,: concessions, leased , territories, railway areas, etc. The declaration is regarded as a warning to the Powers intending'to erect stations, but not applicable to stations now in operation. The plenary session ratified a motion expressing the hope that the telegraphic radio unions might at some time in the near future be merged. Representatives of 76 nations will sign the final compact on Friday.
