OPENING ON SATURDAY. “Pullers’ Follies” is tlie next band of entertainers billed to radiate joy at |he friucess Theatre. They open their Eunedin season on Saturday, when 7 Full of Pep ’ will be presented. Stud Foley, who heads the cast, in , the opinioli of a Wellington critic, would be one of the most successful comedians on the stage to-day if he could guarantee to be always as humorous as ho was in a recent performance. He had the large audience present laughing at his antics until their side ached, and his dancing and dame work caused riots. jXot only is he a clever comedian and dancer, but he possesses a very line voice. With clever little Iris Ackworth, his child partner, his work is excellent. “Little Iris,” it is reported, can sing well and dance better. Eric Masters, the producer, is another talented member who has produced musical comedies which proved outstanding successes in Australia. Harry Gould, a first-class comedian, and Mr William Rcresford, a Wanganui boy, who is regarded as one of Australia’s best singers, are in the show, while Winnie Edgerton has a delightful soprano voice. v One of the most popular artists in: the company is Miss Lula Fanning, and- she is sure to bo well received when she leads the Six Dainties on in the A Black Shuffle.’ Decima and Eddie M'Lean, Australia’s premier dancers, appear, and they provide something cjuite new in the way of a novelty dancing act. This pair are famous the world oyer, and are known as the “ whirlwind dancers.” With the name of Rene M'Guire, the cast of brilliant artists is brought toa conclusion. Miss M'Guire is responsible for the dance ensembles of the charming ballet, and also for the superb costuming. ‘ Full of Pep ’ should prove one of the brightest shows yet staged at the Princess Theatre, •
