BRITAIN’S IMPORTS. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copy rigid. LONDON, November 21. In the House of Commons Captain Hacking told a questioner that the dominions in 1926-supplied 52 per cent, of Britain’s wheat imports, and 25 per cent, of its meat. The. United States supplied 31. S and 12.8 per cent, respectively. Asked’whether the Admiraltv would consider the advisability of limiting the tenders for the supply of beef for home commands to dominion and Britishgrown, Lieutenant Ileadlin said that, apart from local contracts at home ports, which were restricted to dominion and home-grown, the Admiralty preferred to adhere to the present practice.
