It is learned that the examination of the Port Caroline’s cargo shows that the contents of No. 2 hold were badly damaged by sea water.. There are 8,000 carcasses of mutton, 8,000 crates of phoese, and 30,000 boxes of butter, The question of insurers’ liability is under discussion.
