RUGBY, November Lady Cohham will accompany Sir Alan Cohham on his flight of 20,000 miles round Africa, which he is beginning next Thursday from Rochester. She is going as a member of tho crew of six, which tho Hying boat ‘‘ Singapore” will carry, and, in addition to assisting her husband in keeping detailed records of tho flight, she will supervise the cooking for the crew.
CAPTAIN GILES
WEATHER DELAYS START. SAN FRANCISCO, November 11. Captain Giles has announced the postponement of his flight until the conditions are more favorable. The United States Weather Bureau warned him that to attempt to fly to Hawaii would ho suicidal, and suggested at least a two-day delay.
FREISGH PLANE CRASHES
AVIATORS INJURED. PARIS, November 11. A message from Chaumont says that two aviators, Mcdaots and Vcrhaegen, who left Courtrai in tho plane _ Heine Elisabeth this morning, to make a non-stop Right to Leopoldville, Congo, crashed at Ecrt-sur-Aubc. Both were injured.

DEATH OF BRITISH PILOT
EVIDENCE AT INQUEST. LONDON, November 13. (Received November 14, at 1.30 a.m.) At the inqupst on the victims of the East Griinstpd air crash the evidence showed that the pilot lost his way owing to a deranged compass when trying to return to Croydon, and ran short of petrol. The pilot and his companion had a dramatic telephone talk in midair. The former insisted that the latter should jump first, and gave him careful instructions how to use the parachute, then tried to drop off himself when in a nose dive, with the result that the parachute did not open in time.
