TORPEDO-LIKE VESSEL
GERMAN INVENTOR'S CLAIM CROSS ATLANTIC IN 40 HOURS. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright BERLIN, November 12. Herr Boelck, a Hamburg shipbuilder, has invented a torpedo-like vessel which he claims is capable of crossing the Atlantic in 40 hours. It is only 30ft long, and 4ft wide, and can carry 10 passengers and a crew of four. A trial trip from Hamburg to Capo Finisterro will bo made in the spring.
