CAPTAIN LANCASTER ARRIVAL AT BASRA. Preaa Association—By Telegraph—Copj right BASRA, November 10. Captain Lancaster has arrived from Ur, where ho was delayed for two days. Ho will wait ten days in Basra for a new magneto. NAVAL AIRCRAFT CARRIER LARGEST BUILT IN AMERICA. NEW YORK, November 11. (Received November 12, at 10.55 a.m.) ■ A message from Camden, New Jersey, states that the aircraft carrier Saratoga, the largest ship ever built in the United States, will he moved shortly from the shipyard to the Philadelphia navy yard. The Saratoga, which has been under construction seven years, will be formally placed in commission on November 16. The craft is 888 ft long, 106 ft wide at the flying deck, and will displace 33,000 tons at service load. RSISB ELDER ARRIVES NOME WELCOMED BY MAYOR. NEW YORK, November 11. (Received November 12, at 10.55 a.m.) The Atlantic flyers Miss Ruth Elder and Halclemnn arrived aboard the Aquitania. They were met by a city tug and escorted to the City Hall, and presented with a scroll by the mayor before a largo crowd.
