'ROUGH HOUSE ROSIE ’
CLARA BOW’S LATEST PICTURE. In ‘Rough House Rosie,’ the Paramount picture which comes to the Octagon Theatre to-morrow, the' vivacious little star, Clara Bow, takes part in' many and widely-varied forms of amusement. She proves herself an accurate baseball thrower, no mean wielder of the sledgo hammer, an indefatigable chorus dancer, a strong swimmer, and a lady, able to take pugilistic .punishment. The opening scene shows the cyclonic actress at Venice, a beach in the vicinity of Hollywood, where she shows hor prowess at various kinds of sports. Later a lively cabaret scene finds Miss Bow leading her ballet through a. maze of intricate steps in a boxing ballet. In a bathing pool scene at a fashionable country club the star proves to be the life of the party, while in the closing scenes of the picture, which were taken at a boxing stadium, she urges the boxers to greater efforts.
