(Received November 10, at 10.30 a.m.) Mr Gibbs informed the Australian Press Association that the Mobile Service Committee of the Radio Conference has agreed that small coastal ships trading exclusively on the New Zealand coast may be operated by officers holding special radio certificates from the New Zealand Government, such ships not to participate in general communications, but to carry wireless as a safety precaution.
