MATCHES IN DOMINION, fPer United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, November 8. The arrangements have been completed for tho visit of tho French lawn tennis team. After playing matches in Wellington the team will come to Auckland and' play here, connecting with the Sydney boat leaving New Zealand on January 20. The Australian championship meeting has been postponed for one week as a result of this arrangement. , Final 'arrangements for the team s visit will bo left in tho hands of the Now Zealand Lawn Tennis Association. Mr D. Murray Kean (secretary) has mapped out a scheme which, if it can be worked, will give the public the best possible chance of seeing the French players at their best. Possibly the team will play two days in Wellington and two days in Auckland.
