Tho Commonwealth and Dominion Lino advises that tho Port Curtis, which left New York on October IG, is duo at Auckland on November 16. The vessel will also unload at Napier, Wellington, Dunedin, New Plymouth, and Newcastle. TRANSPACIFIC CARGO SERVICE. Tho Union Company announces tho following movements of vessels engaged in tho transpacific cargo service:— Waikawa left San Pedro (Los Am geles), 26th ult., for Papeete, Wellington, Dunedin, Lyttelton, Napier, Nelson, and New Plymouth; due at Papeete 10th inst., and at Wellington 20th. Waitemata loft San Francisco 25th ult. for Auckland, Wellington, Mel- : bourne, and Sydney; due at Auckland 19th iust. Wairuna left Suva 2th ult. for Vancouver and San Francisco; due at Vancouver 9th inst. Tlauraki is expected to leave Adelaide about 11th. inst. for Sydney. Wniotapu left Sydney Ist inst. Tor Suva, thence Fanning Island, Vancouver. and San Francisco; dno at Suva to-morroWi The forward loading dates at the Pacific Coast are approximately as follows : Wairuna loads at Vancouver and San Francisco during tho present month for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Renuiy Point, and Sydney. Waiotapu loads at Vancouver and San Francisco in December for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. Hauraki loads at Vancouver and San Francisco late in Demember and early in January for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney. iciieniata loads at Vancouver and San Francisco during January for Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, and Now' Plymouth. Waikawa loads at Vancouver and San Francisco during February for Auckland, Wellington, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. SALE OF DOONHOLM. The Wirral Transport Company’s steamer Doonholm, of 2,777 tons nett, has been sold to Greek buyers for £21,000. She was built in 1907. This vessel realised £IOO,OOO in December, 1915; £115,000 in March, 1916; £120,000 in January, 1918; and £166,000 in July, 1919. For a number of years she was engaged in carrying phosphates between Ocean and Nauru Islands and Australia. SHIPPING RETURNS. Figures compiled by the RegistrarGeneral of Shipping and Seamen show that 35 steamers of 32,G88 tons gross, and eight motor ships of 24,100 tons gross, were added to the register of the United Kingdom in June, but the registers were closed of 23 steamers of 102,389 tons gross. It will thus be Keen that, as far as steamers and motor vessels are concerned, the removals exceeded the additions by 45,591 tons press. It should be pointed out that practically the whole of the vessels added were new, while, of the boats sold, most wore over 20 years of age.
