DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. Buyers predominated in the banking*' section tins morning. There were sellers of Commercial Banks at 29s 3d, with buyers at 23s lid. Sellers of E.B. and A.’s were prepared to quit at.£B, but buyers would not como above £/ : 12s (Id. New were wanted at 58s. without tellers. For Union Bank rights buyers offered 525, with sellers one shilling away A buyer still offered 35s 9d for Westport Coals, but no seller quoted. Sellers of Ncw r Zealand Loan and Merca utiles came on the market at £96, but tho best buyer offered only £93 Ills. Now Zealand Refrigerating (cont.) had sellers at 8s od, with buyers at 7s lOd. M'Lcod Bros.’ Soap shares were in demand at £26, with sellers quoting £2B. Buyers were prepared to give 64s 9d for New Zealand Drugs, hub no sellers quoted, 'Taranaki Oils improved this morning, buvers offering Us. with no sellers. Mosgiel Woollens were wanted at £6 10s, with no sellers. There was a seller of 1939 4f per cent.
