The Kauri Gum Industry Amendment Bill and several local measures were 1 read a second time, and the Couiicil adjourned at 3.20 p m HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES The debate on the Rural intermediate Credits Bill occupied almost the whole of flic sitting of the House, rising at 1.43 a.m.
