LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL The Inspection of Alachincrv Amendment Bill was reported by the Labor Bills Committee with amendments, and the Land Laws Amendment Bill anti tlie Alagistratcs’ Courts Amendment Bill by the Lands Committee, and the Statutes Revision Committee without amendment. On the second reading of tho Tongariro National Park Amendment Bill, Sir Francis Bell questioned certain words proposing to give power for the exclusion of lands from the park by uroclamation, and accordingly, after being rend a second time, tlie Bill was referred to the Lands Committee. The Kauri Gum Industry Amendment Bill and several local measures were 1 read a second time, and the Couiicil adjourned at 3.20 p m HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES The debate on the Rural intermediate Credits Bill occupied almost the whole of flic sitting of the House, rising at 1.43 a.m.
