TRAINING OF JOURNALISTS
UNIVERSITY COURSE ADVOCATED Prew Association—By Telegraph-Copyright. SYDNEY, October 27. (Received October 27, at 10 a.m.) The annual conference of the Country Press Association has opened. Professor Sir Mungo MacCallnm delivered an address upon the value of university training for journalists, with special reference to the university’s diploma in journalism, and proposed facilities for enabling country journalists to take advantage of the diploma course.
