KILLS WIFE AND CHILDREN SUICIDE FOLLOWS Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. Melbourne, August is. The bodies of Robert Parsons, his wife (Florence), his daughter (Violet), aged seven, his son, aged five, and a baby, aged eighteen months, were found at their home at Nobel Park, a small village sixteen miles from Melbourne. It is alleged that Parsons, who was a returned soldier and thirty-five years of age, murdered his family, and then committed suicide. The tragedy occurred this afternoon. A neighbor, hearing a scream, looked over the fence, and saw Mrs Parsons with her throat cut running from the house, with Parsons, who had a razor in his hand, and was also bleeding from the throat, pursuing her. Parsons caught his wife and dragged her back into the house. Tho neighbor raised the alarm, and when the police arrived they were confronted with the ghastly spectacle of two. children lying on tho bed with their throats cut, and tho other child and the mother and the father on tho floor, also with their throats cut. Tho motive of tho tragedy is unknown, as they always seemed a very happy family.
