One ol the research investigators nt tile Hothninst-ead Experimental Station in England declares that all farm crops are equally sensitive to soil acidity, Lucerne and clover Avill not grow in sour soil; barley, peas, bean*, vetches, Avheat. SAvedes, mangolds, ana beet all do badly; hut oats, potatoes, rye, and lupins will thrive in sot* which arc slightly sour.
