The secretary of the Otago Provincial Fruitgrowers’ Council, Ltd., advises that the High Commissioner’s cable report on the fruit market in London for the week ended August U is as follows:—“The Corinthic shipment arrived in good condition, except for little waste in Statesman and Washington. Market quiet in view of large quantities of English apples available, but present market prices are very good, though prospect of decline next week to ensure clearance. Prices are as follow:—Statesman and Stumer, 21s to 25s per case;) Pokewood, Dougherty, and Ballarat Seedling, 21s to 245.” CHICAGO WHEAT QUOTATIONS. NEW YORK, August 17.
