The Olive Brandi Juvenile Lodge held its weekly meeting in ibo George Street Hall, A.D. Bin. Winter presiding over a good attendance, including visitors. It was reported _ that progress was being made in opening a branch at Moniingtou towards the end of tho month; those, who have the matter in hand are receiving much encouragement. Tlio visitors replied, and the lodge closed shortly alter 9 o’clock. The Lily of the \ alloy Lodge held its fortnightly meeting in the Millar Street Hall, A.D. Bro. Hope presiding. Tlio officers assembled at an early hour for a rehearsal for the Ross Stuart competition this month, attention being paid to ceremonial details. Considerable correspondence was iioceived, and several matters wore referred to the secretary. Official visits were received irom D.P.’s Bros. Walker and Maybee, Nos. 1 and L districts, also tlio officers of tlio (Vest Harbor Lodge, who came to contest for the euchre shield. After an hour s iilav tho result was as follows Lily 12 West Harbor 9. Refreshments were handed round. Several brothers reported on tho sick. The Bard s statements were received, and payment passed. The visitors replied to the !r„od and welfare, and D.P. Bro. Walker thanked the two principal officers for being present at the lodge of instruction. The delegate to the annual ball reported that it was a success. P.G.G. Bro. B. Ecid was c ected io represent the lodge at the Syllabus Committee meetings.
