The huge success of greyhound racing in London and the provinces has resulted in a plan Lo make Wembley the world’s greatest centre of sport. A company has bon formed under the leadership of Colonel Charles Darley Miller, managing director of the R'ochampton Club, with a capital of £250,000 subscription lo which is being offered to the public on August 29. The company has bought the stadium and surrounding land from the present owner, who bought it from the liquidators of the Beecham trust for £120,000. Racing will begin before December.
