MEETING OF EXECUTIVE Tlie weekly meeting of the executive of the Otago Ladies’ 'Hockey Associa tiou was held on Monday night; pro sent —Mrs R. Hudson (in the chair) Mrs Nelson, Misses White, Adams. Lane, Brockie. and Hill. The Vincent Sub-association again wrote about sending a team to Central Otago.—lt was decided that no team be sent this season, but that the matter of an extended tour of Central Otago be considered next year. A letter’was received from the South Otago Sub-association accepting the invitation'for. a match against Otago at Dunedin.-—lt was decided that this match he played at Logan Park next Saturday.—lt was also suggested that a second Otago, team, play a match against a combined Milton-Bruce team as a curtain-raiser.— I This' was agreed to. The following is the team to play against South Otago:-—Goalkeeper, 'Miss Benfell; left back, Miss T£. Miller ; riobt back. Miss I. R. Wallace; left bnlf, Miss M. Blaedon; centre half. Miss B. Fraser (Technical Old Girls); reserve forward. Miss I. Lee (Triangle"). The representative team for the New Zealand tournament will not be finally chosen until after Saturday's matches. The Vincent Sub-association wrote advising that its six-a-sidc tournament will ho held in Cromwell on August 27. A letter was received from the New Zealand Ladies’ Hockey Association, giving particulars concerning the championship ' tournament. The entries numbered eighteen teams, to be divided into three sections, as follows:—A section ; ’ Canterbury, Eastern, Mnnawatu N. Rnahf ne-Dnnnevirke A. Taranaki, Wairarapa. B section; Bush Union B. King fonntrv. Manawatn A, Poverty Bay, Southland, Wpßi*vrton. G section : Auckland Bush Union A, Feeding, Rnahine-Dannevirke B, South Canterbury.

With regard to tho B grade competition it was decided to close this. A motion was passed congratulating the winners, Training College, and also tho runners-up, Otago I.
