TRUTH TO MIGRANTS
PROSPECTS IH DOMINIONS ACCURATE ]NFORMATION UNAVAILABLE. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, August 10. “ Both the passenger agents and the migration authorities should tell the plain truth regarding opportunities in the dominions,” said Mr Frame, who presided at the Migration Agents’ Association meeting. Ho said that the agents were often wrongly blamed, but they found difficulty in providing inquirer's with accurate information owing to contradictory statements. He deplored the fact that the British unemployed did i not seek outlets in the dominions, perhaps largely because they were assured of the dole or other relief. If the migration methods were faulty, he thought that the entire fault was not on this side. For example, a heartier welcome might be extended to migrants in their new homes.
