DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. Business on ’Change was very quiet this morning in all sections, and no sales were effected. Bank of New Zcaliuids were on offer at 58s 9d, but buyers would not advance beyond 58s 3d. Union Banks had a seller at £ls 2s, with no buying quotation. A seller of Huddart, Parkers (ord.) came on the market at 48s 6d, without response. Colonial Sugars were wanted at £52; sellers, however, stood off. ‘Otago Daily Times’ were quoted ex dividend, wifii the wide margin of 71s buy, 77s sell. There was a closer market in New Zealand Breweries Debentures, only 3d dividing buyers and sellers. The quotations were 23s 6d, 23s 9d. Upper Nevis shares were wanted at 24s Id, but no seller would come any lower than 25s Cd. Buyers and sellers were evenly distributed in the Government Loans section, but when there was a buying quote there was no seller, and vice versa. Quotations as under;— BANKING.
