A committee of the North Canterbury Hospital Hoard reported to-dayjn the case of Airs M‘Knight, who died from a fractured skull after being discharged and then readmitted to the hospital. It found that the house surgeon’s records were by no means satisfactory, that there was a, lack of careful investigation ol the case by the honorary surgeon and the house, surgeon, and a lack of observation by the sister in charge of the ward. “The fact that the patient was discharged did not contribute to her death.” SOCCER.
