In order to record the visit; oi their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess' of York to the dominion. 1927. the Government Publicity Office has issued an official pictorial souvenir booklet. This publication does not purport to be a complete record of all Uie. incidents of the Royal tour through the North and South'lslands, hut it gives an adequate and splendid illustrated description. A short resume of the functions at the various cities and towns is included, also the full texts of the nearly forty addresses oi welcome and loyalty and the Royal replies. The illustrations arc the acme, ot the printer's art. and the whole booklet is a valuable record of a great event in New Zealand s nibtovv.
