THE PARSEE FAITH

MR SAKLATVALA'S CHILDREN INITIATION IN LONDON. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, LONDON, July 24. (Received July 25, at 8.30 a.m.) With the rites only once previously performed in England, the five children of Mr Saklatvala (Socialist M.P.) were initiated into the Par,see faith at Caxton Hall, Westminster, in the presence of co-religionists and Socialists. Mr Saklatvala’s English wife said that she was happy to redeem her pledge to her late father-in-law that his grandchildren should be brought up within the fold.

The prayers were chanted in Avesta, one of the dead Persian tongues. The ceremonies included the branding on the forehead with a thick red phosphorescent paste and the clothing of each with a sacred vest, which is never disday or night.
