MTherson’s Ala to o’ Aline (Kevamforte—Our Anthem) beat Air A. Smith’s Lady Alac (Canadian Alac—Minnie Alisk). Mr R. Hair’s Ardenvhor (Achieved’,-; First—Allies Pardon) beat Aliss F. Lee’s (ns.) Comical (Picardy—Loyal Lass). Mr C. James’s Blueberry (Greenberry—Rosa) beat Air B. Winchester’s Final Verse (Paddy’s Verse—Fanny). Pearlic Tar led Andy’s Pride six lengths and turned, puss breaking to Andy’s Pride. The latter turned. Pearlio Tar wrenched and drove to the escapes. Eve led a length to the game, then tunned and kept possession. Ardenvhor turned ab covert, puss escaping. Blueberry a bye. -Semi-final.— Evo beat Blueberry. * Alale o’ Aline a bye. Eve led Blueberry and outclassed Blueberry on speed, and drove to covert. Alate o’ Aline a bye. —Final.— Eve boat Alate o’ Aline. Eve led several lengths, turned and wrenched at the escapes. Time, 65sec. OPEN SWEEPSTAKE. Winner £4. —First Round. — Airs J. H. Thomson’s Rose Picardy (Picardy—Hope Australia) beat Mr 1). Hall’s Slyly Achieved (Achieved’s First —Sly Aliss). Air W. Clark’s Sea Prince (Aberfoy— Forward Alarch) beat Air J. Simon’s Happy Voyage (Jolly Tar—Parade). Both dogs were on even terras to the centre. On reaching the game Rose of Picardy had a slight advantage and turned; equal exchanges followed to the escapes. Happy Voyage led Sea Prince to the Crow’s Nest. Both dogs were on even terms to the game. Sea Prince having the advantage at the escapes, gained the Hag. —Final.— Rose of Picardy beat Sea Prince.
