ADVERTISED FOR SALE PECULIAR LAND SPECULATION. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, July 19. (Received July 20, at 11.55 a.m.) An uncanny form of land speculation is revealed in an advertisement offering to soli 15,0C0 square motors of Hill CO, which a Pritish stall officer bought from the Belgians immediately after the war.
The advertisement states that it is the only intact portion in the Ypres sector, with pillboxes and dugouts, and that it is ideal for the erection of regimental memorials. Tho owner estimates the land to be worth £IO,OOO.
