DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. There wore sales effected this morn* ing in P. and 0. Deferred Stock at £283 and New Zealand Breweries shares at 47s 6d. There was a reported sale of Bank of New Zealands at 5Ss hd. Bank of New Zealands were finally quoted at 5Ss Gd buyer, 58s 9d seller. Commercial Banks had a seller prepared to quit at 29s Gd, but there was no buyer nearer than 295. E.S. and A. Banks (cum rights) had a seller at £8 3s 6d, but no buyer came forward. National Bank of New Zealands had a buyer at £6 15s, but the nearest selling quote was £6 17s. There was a slight reduction in the selling price of Union Banks; it is now £l6 12s. There was no change in insurance shares from yesterday afternoon. Sellers of Burns, Philp quoted this morning without response. P. and 0. Deferred Stock advanced to £282 buyer, £285 seller. National Mortgages had a seller at G6s, and buyers of Loan and Mercantiles advanced to £92. Auckland Amusement Parks were on a par with yesterday, and buyers were still quoting for Colonial Sugars at £6l 10s. The closing prices for New Zealand Breweries were 47s 3d buyer, 48s seller. Sellers of Molyneux Electrics were prepared to quit at 22s 6d, but there was no buyer above 21s. There was a wide margin in Upper Nevis quotations, buyers coming down to 22s Gd, with no seller under 255. Quotations for Government loans were steady. _ Sales reported.—Bank of NIZ., 58s
