(Received July 20, at 11 a.m.) Two devoted workers in X-ray research (Dr Pirie and Dr Williams) have been awarded Civil List pensions. Both suffered such serious injuries that they have been forced to relinquish practice. Both men Wive already been awarded pensions by the Carnegie Fund.
