Two British textile machinery firms arc reported to have granted the Sot iet credit for £2,500,000 for tha purchase of plant. Others arc joining the German register so that negotiate for orders through Ber Ti. The week-end conference of the Soviet representatives in European capitals decided that between 5 per cent, and 10 per cent. of_ peudhig orders, amounting to £15,000,000, would he executed in Britain, ami some in America, with France/ It -a -y, Germany, and Czecho-Slovakia sharing the balance.
