(10.15 p.m.), 2,484 tons, Kano, for Auckland via ports. Corinna, s.s. (10.20 p.ra.), 1.319 tons, Howie, for New Plymouth via ports. The Opihi, which came to town last night' from Port' Chalmers, sails at 10 o’clock to-night for Timaru and Westport.’ Tho Waikouaiii arrived too late on the tide this morning, and will now berth to-morrow morning. The vessel, which is from Newcastle and Sydney via Bluff, will sail on Thursday morning from Lyttelton, Timaru, and Sydnov. _ . Vue Kurow is duo this vvonibG hionv Lyttelton, and sails to-morrow afternoon for Bluff, returning to Dunedin on Friday to load for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and- Auckland. The Kamo left Gisborne yesterday for Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due here on Thursday, and loads out for Napier and Gisborne. The Kaikorai left Newcastle on Saturday for Port Chalmers direct. Tho Kaiapoi left Hobart yesterday morning for Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Auckland. The Karctu was expected to leave Sydney to-day for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru, and Bluff. The Calm was due here this afternoon from Bluff, and is to sail to-night for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. , Advice has been received that the City of Khartoum arrived at Timaru this morning, and is expected to bo despatched on Friday lor Dunedin. Tho Corinna sailed last night ter Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth. The Progress, which arrived early this monnng from Wellington, is timed to sail to-night for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, N.cw.Plymouth, acid Port Waikato. THE FERRY SERVICE. The W’ahinc, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 6.50 this morning, and passengers and mails connected with tho 5.50 express. TRANSPACIFIC CARGO SERVICE. The following are the movements ol the Union Company’s vessels engaged in tho transpacific cargo service Hauraki, from Vancouver and San Francisco, arrived at Auckland on Saturday. She proceeds thence to Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney. Waihomo left San Francisco on June 4 for Apia, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, Bluff, and New 1 lyrnouth. She is due at Apia to-day, and at Wellington about June 30. Waiotapu is now completing discharge at Sydney. Wairuna left Sydney on Juno to for Vancouver and San Francisco via Fiji and Fanning She is due at Vancouver on July 16. Waitemata was expected to leave San Francisco on June 19 for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. The forward loading dates at 1 aciiic Coast ports arc approximately as follows : Wairuna loads at Vancouver and San Francisco during July ior Papeete, Auckland (possibly Wellington), Melbourne, and Sydney. . Waiotapu loads at Vancouver and San Francisco during August ter New Zealand and Australian ports. Hauraki loads at Vancouver and San Francisco late September and early October for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney. Stewart has been appointed to the command of the Waitomo, which ,is being recommissioned at Port Chalmers. Mr E. H. Wilson will, join . the vessel as chief officer. Captain C. Elders has returned from holiday leave, and assumed command of the Waipiata. THE W 7 ALCHERAN. The New Zealand Shipping Company has been notified that the Waicheran arrived at Montreal mi Juno 13 Vo load for New Zealand. The vessel is to sail from Montreal on June 25 for Auckland, ."Wellington, Lyttel-i ton,, and-Dunedin.

CANADIAN PIONEER ARRIVED. An arrival at Dunedin this morning was the Canadian Pioneer from Halifax and northern ports. Tho vessel berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge general cargo. hi. Robertson is in command. The Canadian Pioneer will sail again on Thursday for Wellington and Auckland, thence New York, Boston, and Montreal. THE W r EST HENSHATV. Advice received by Messrs Turnbull, Martin, aiid Co. states that the Amen-1 can steamer West Hcnshaw left Los Angelos on June 14 with general cargo, case oil, and lumber for discharge at Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The vessel is due j at Auckland about July 8, and at this port about July 26. MAT AIWA FROM HOME. The next Shaw, Savill, and Albion steamer to roach New Zealand will be the Matntiia, which is due from Liverpool at Auckland on June 28. The vessel is bringing general merchandise , from West Coast ports of the United | Kingdom for discharge at Auckland, j Wellington, Lyttelton, ami Dunedin. WIRRAL COMING. Running under the auspices of the A and A. Line, the steamer Wirral is due at Auckland early tins week from New York. The vessel is t bring-i ins case oil and general merchandise for discharge at : Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and ■Wanganui. KIA ORA HOME. Cable information has been received stating that the Kia Ora, which sailed from Auckland on April 30 for Loc* don via New York, Boston, and Halifax, arrived at London last W ednesday evening. I THE PORT HUNTER. With cargo for discharge .at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Timaru, the C. and I). Line steamer Port Hunter is expected to leave Liverpool to-morrow. CITY OF Kill OS DAMAGED. As a result of a severe buffeting in the Australian Bight, _ the _steamei City of Khios, which visited New Zealand recently to discharge New York cargo, was compelled to put into lon Adelaide last week for repairs. She is expected to remain at Adelaide ter about a fortnight. The steamer is loaded with wheat for the United Kingdom and tho Continent. RICHELIEU REFLOATED. Tho big Frencli four-masted barque Richelieu, which was damaged by lire and explosion, and sunk at Baltimore about January 10, has been refloated. At tho time of the fire the Richelieu was loading a cargo ol pitch tor I’Orient. It is not known at present whether the vessel will be repaired or sold. Tho Richelieu was in South Australian waters last year, when she loaded a cargo of wheat for the United Kingdom or Continent.
