SOLICITOR'S BAG STOLEN
' RECOVERY OP CONTENTS.
A Hi lot who stole an attache ca.ro from a tram at the Sydney railway (station recently found in it documents which he apparently considered not only of no value to himself, but dangerous if found in his possession. He placed thorn on the stairway in the main entrance of a large city building early one morning when there was no one in sight. They were discovered later by the caretaker, who delivered them to the police. Mr Charles Morgan, a solicitor, of Woollongoug, boarded a tram at the central railway ramp on the evening of May 17. Shortly afterwards a passenger in another carriage attempted to alight while the tram was in motion, and fell, striking his bond, Mr Morgan promptly went to his assistance, and \lhcn be .returned he found that his attache case, containing some most important legal documents was missing. The documents when recovered were clumsily wrapped in a brown paper parcel, under which were several thicknesses of newspaper. The thief had retained the hag.
