ARAPUNI STRIKE
MEN IGNORE HEADQUARTERS' ORDER [Special to tub ' Star.’] AUCKLAND, June 16. The Arapuni works strike was called off yesterday, but work was not resumed, the local executive and men ignoring the order. There seems little likelihood of work being resumed this Mr' Cooke, the national secretary of the union, and others have been summoned from Wellington to a meeting on Saturday.
